“It has become very interesting. It’s a great and exciting country. Brazilians want to move to Europe for a lot of different reasons. We look at it as a challenge. To that degree I can make a difference I want to work on making a difference in the Brazilian way. Brazil has done a lot of good things when it comes to talent development. Europe in general would be a personal challenge, but I dream on working in Norway professionally.”

Sergio has worked with all of the big talents like Neymar, Rodrygo, Gabigol, Ganso, etc.

So why Norway? “I don’t mind staying in Norway long-term as one of the most important things for me and my family is the quality of life. I want a good and safe place to live. Long-term Spanish football is of course the big dream. Champions League the ultimate dream. But the quality of life is the key in Norway. It’s a good level on the football and it’s a good quality on the education side for the kids.”
