We are happy to congratulate one of our players, Emmanuel Sarpong! He just got a call-up to the Ghana U23 National Team camp ahead of their African Cup of Nation’s qualifier vs. Gabon on 22nd of March.
Emmanuel Sarpong, how do you feel about getting called up to the U23 Ghana National Team?
- I am very happy for this call-up. It's not easy to get an invite, but with God all things are possible.
Tell us a little bit about your way to getting to this stage?
- I started at Liberty Professionals F.C, had a great 2016/17 season, which lead me to a transfer to Kosovo, playing in the top division there and winning the league. But, because of bad representation at the time, ended up back in Ghana. In Ghana I joined 1st. division side Star Madrid and played there last season and now I am with the National U23 Team.
Emmanuel Sarpong one of the players we represent, he is a 21-year old left winger, and left wing-forward. He is right footed, got pace, and very good physique. A constant threat for the opponents right side.
