We are proud to announce that Kabamba Tumba Kalabatama has signed a two-year deal with TPS Turku from the Finnish Elite League.
Kabamba were on trial with TPS Turku from Veikkausliiga before Christmas, where he did so well that TPS wanted to sign him. "Bamba" is Norwegian with Kongolese heritage, has played senior football since he was 15-years old, is a powerful striker and turned 18 two weeks ago.

Kabamba comes from Bjørnevatn, currently on level 5 in Norway. At the age of 16, he scored 5 goals in the tough Oslo-division on level 4. Bjørnevatn is a club from far up north, but had all of their away matches in the Oslo-area, and all of the Oslo-clubs had one trip each far up north.
This season Kabamba had 8 goals in 10 matches for the A-team, and 8 goals in 3 matches for the B-team. There were interests for Kabamba from several of Norway's best academies, but in the end, it is senior football with TPS Turku which highlighted itself as the best option for further development and for the best and most interesting challenge going forward.
