Ek has previously worked within sports organizations both in Norway and in the US.

Organizations which include a football teams, a hockey team, a beach soccer company, a fairtrade footballproducer and a sponsorship consultant company.

Ek has a bachelor in Sport Management from Molde University College in Norway and a Master of Arts in Sport Management from University of San Francisco in USA.

Oppong has worked several years in grassroots football development primarily in Kumasi and Accra. His understanding of how grassroots and youth football talents can be shaped into elite player is immense.
